What a gorgeous summer day. Harrison, Mitch and I walked to Butler Elementary this afternoon. We raced to the playground equipment when we arrived and slid the slides. We toured the entire school and found Harrison's classroom. His teacher is Carol Garbett. H will be in school from 8:15 until 12:15. We will meet her next Tuesday. How exciting!
After that, we walked to 7-Eleven and got a treat and a slurpee. Then we went to Zions Bank and opened a savings account for Harrison. He had $88 worth of change to deposit! Then we went to the library and got some books and Harrison put on a puppet show for us. Whew! We were tired after all that.
Back to school night is this Wednesday. After that, I have a soccer coaching meeting to go to. Harrison is so excited for soccer. And he has been requesting a piano lesson from Auntie Alecia. We will go see her tomorrow.
Oh, and he says come on Auntie Ally -- you can come to kindergarten with me!!

Harrison did SO well at his piano lesson. He passed off 3 pages (and got 3 prizes) and he practiced playing C D E E D C. This concept of the keys being named A,B,C,D,E,F, and G is taking a bit of effort.
But he did beat Lego Chess Level 4!!
