Look out, Aimee is ranting with PMS.
I have many issues with Chris Buttars, R-Utah senator representing district 10, West Jordan/South Jordan. He recently released the text of a new bill.
Buttars says, "Scientists don't know how life started. And those scientists teach evolution as if it were fact!" He also says, "You gotta tell the kids the truth [which is] you don't know. Don't teach human evolution as a fact, you don't know that."
The reason this is so amazing to me is because I grew up in the same religion as Chris Buttars. I'll bet my life that Chris Buttars has said these words: "I know this church is true" and has pushed those unproved words on his children and other people's children
All I'm saying is he should take a little of his own advice if he is going to push his advice on the rest of us.
My apologies to my religious friends and family members who do not act or think like this ultra conservative idiot Buttars.
