I am no longer in "baby" shape. I got to be with my niece Ellen on Friday night while her parents went out. Harrison had a swimming lesson so we packed up a bag and put Ellen in the carseat. Life with a baby is nonstop. I find myself wondering how I did it 6 years ago. Just getting the two children and their paraphernalia inside the swimming pool building was HUGE EFFORT. Angie (and all you other baby mamas), you are so amazing.
We had so much fun swimming tho. We watched Harrison at his lesson and then we all got to swim together. Ellen was scared at first. She'd whimper. Then she started splashing and laughing. So cute.
Ahem, but then we had to get to the car again. Oh boy. And when we actually got home we all had to eat and bathe. Nonstop. How do the baby mamas do it??
My arms ached for the entire next day.
