Flush

As you all know, Harrison and I read nearly every night from 7-8. We are currently reading "Flush." Now, if you've seen The Princess Bride, recall the boy to whom the grandfather is reading the book. They are in the boy's bedroom and the boy is very skeptical of the book and it's subject matter. Harrison is much like this boy EVERY night! He doubts he will enjoy even a minute of our reading time. But Harrison has LAUGHED out loud at this book AND he has gleaned quotable lines from it. Last night we ended up reading it for 2.5 hours. And, as every other night, Harrison is upset when reading time is over.

Kids.

Exactly, reading sucks, alot, unless it's a good book, in which case it's one of teh best things ever. Worse experience of my life:Grapes of Wrath UGGGHH! There is nothing worse than being forced to read an awfully boring book, but then having the ending be some lady who's baby died breastfeeding a grown man, seriously, it's just wrong.
