Preface: I am a reader and as such, I am slightly lacking in articulation, pronunciation and conciseness skills. My six-year-old son is learning this the hard way.
Last month: My sister Angie found a white gold ring online that I loved. I sent a link of the ring to Harrison and Mitch and told them I wanted that ring for Mother's Day.
Last Monday: Mitch asked me if I still wanted that ring. I told him that the ring was all gone; no longer available; done for; down the tubes; kaput.
Two hours later: Harrison asks, "Mom, what did you mean when you said 'the ring is all gone'?" I explained that lots of people had liked the ring and bought one and that now there were none left. Harrison says, "Oh, you mean 'Sold Out'!" Oh yeah, duh.

i asked aimee once if something was correct. instead of responding with "yes" or "that's right" or "that's correct" or "mmhmm", i got,"that looks to be accurate."
