Six years ago today was the first time we all saw Harrison in the flesh. What an exciting day that was. I remember hearing his unique little cry as our nurse wrapped him up in a blanket. I chuckled when I first heard him. Kent held him and then handed him to me. Wow, it was amazing to hold him and look at him. Back then, we could kiss his little face whenever we wanted to. In fact, he even LIKED the kisses. This morning when he woke up I told him the story of his birth day. He curled up on his pillow to listen to the stories. When I'd stop talking he'd say -- tell me more, mom. He chose McDonald's for breakfast. But before we went he opened presents. He got some moon shoes and a bounce hut. We also had the traditional Thomas the Tank Engine birthday cake.
I love you, Harrison! I sure am glad I had you.
